Channel Mind and Body encourages awareness in all movement. Your trainer Lorrell Weltman will clearly explain and demonstrate the best exercises for you with correct posture and safe technique.
Lorrell became a nationally recognised Personal Trainer & Pilates Instructor in 2010 and is also accredited in Stretch Therapy, Aqua, Tai Chi and older adults’ fitness.
Her fitness journey began over 25 years ago with yoga, adult gymnastics and dance then continued with Aqua, Feldenkrais and the Alexander Technique. Starting Pilates in 1998 was the turning point while working in the busy TV and Film industry. Using the Pilates principles of concentration, control, centring, breathing, flow and precision Lorrell realised a mind body connection had many health benefits from managing stress levels to producing amazing fitness results. This knowledge continues to inspire her teaching.
Having lived on a rural property in the Channel region for thirty years Lorrell understands how physical labour, corporate work, commuting, sports and leisure activities can affect the mind and body and is passionate to support you with your wellbeing adventure.
